The Round Pen as a Classroom

The round pen is not a treadmill. In the round pen, we and our horse can establish a connection, our communication, and the basic principles that our training will be based on. The round pen is also a great diagnostic tool for problems or restarts. This clinic is suitable for any horse and human, two years old (horse!) and up.

Young Horse Clinic

This clinic is a foundation clinic that is suitable for all humans and horses of all ages. We will check and recheck essential foundation principles and skills. Every horse needs a foundation, and it's a solid foundation that results in refinement!

Boot Camps

Boot Camps five-day intensive clinics for for small groups and are organized by ability and knowledge level. Levels range from beginner/inexperienced to advanced/experienced.

Boot Camps combine round pen work, ground work and ridden work to help the student understand the concepts that tie all this work together to make a good horse/human partnership. The emphasis is on creating and maintaining a foundation that will lead to refinement and to the horse becoming a safe and skilled working partner. Boot Camps are offered twice a year, in the spring and the fall and sell out quickly.

Studycations & Girls Weekends

Studycation is an intensive, immersive in-person instructional experience! Visit the Molena Horse and Cattle Company and Ethos Equine in Molena, Georgia. Customize your own blend of ground work, round pen work, ridden work, leisure riding, discussions, demonstrations and down time to optimize your learning. Appropriate for all breeds and disciplines, with a focus on how firm foundations result in harmony and refinement. Singles, pairs and small groups welcome (girls’ weekend!!!!!!), annually, October-May.
